I have always lived on the west coast where mountains, beaches, and deserts are accessible year-round; but my love of road trips has taken me to nearly every state.
I love to capture the human experience in nature – the exhilaration of jumping into an alpine lake still surrounded in snow, the serenity of sitting quietly in the desert, the solitude of wide-open spaces, and the joy of being in the outdoors. The resulting photographs are visual stories that I hope inspire people to get outside and have their own experiences; strengthening their physical and emotional connection to the planet, and growing their desire to protect and steward our wild spaces.
I am skilled at combining natural and artificial light sources to produce high-impact lifestyle, outdoor, and product photographs, working in remote locations and unusual settings, and the problem solving those situations demand.
